Bishop Kalonga Delivers 2025 Christmas Pastoral Message of Peace and Hope

Rt. Revd Daniel Kalonga has shared his 2025 Christmas pastoral message with all clergy, laity, and partner institutions across the Anglican Diocese of Lake Malawi.

In his message, Bishop Kalonga reflected on the humble birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, emphasizing that Christmas is a profound reminder of God's enduring peace, love, and presence among His people, even amidst challenging economic and social times.

"As we celebrate the incarnation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, let us open our hearts to His peace and extend open hands of fellowship and compassion to our neighbors, the vulnerable, and those in need of comfort across our communities around Lake Malawi," Bishop Kalonga urged.

The Bishop commended the faithful across all 57 parishes for their dedication throughout the year and encouraged families to remain steadfast in prayer, unity, and stewardship as they look forward with renewed hope to the blessings and opportunities of the coming New Year 2026.

He concluded with apostolic blessings for a joyous Christmas season and a peaceful New Year.
